APPLICATION
Acoustic Louvers provide sound attenuation through fibrous material contained in the blades, while protecting air openings against rain, leaves and birds.
STANDARD CONSTRUCTION
• Frame:
- Constructed from 16 Ga (1.5 mm) Galvanized steel channel frame with flat top & 23.6" (600 mm) depth.
• Blades:
- Constructed from 20 Ga (1.0 mm) Galvanized steel with 22 Ga (0.8 mm) perforated steel interior surface that covers the insulation.
• Blade Centers:
- 6” (150 mm) maximum centers at head and sills.
• Insulation:
- Fiber infill which has a glass cloth facing and contained behind the perforated sheets.
This dual protection prevents damage and fiber erosion up to 6000 fpm airway velocity.
• Finish:
- Mill Finish.
• Sizes:
- Minimum Size: 12”x18”
- Maximum Size: 72”x90”
- Standard height increments in a pitch of 6” (150 mm).
- Different height increments will result in different face height of the lower blade.
- Larger sizes are constructed of multiple sections to be joined by others.
OPTIONS
1. Construction:
- Aluminum frame construction (AL) with 2 mm thick frame & 1.5 mm thick blades.
- Stainless Steel (SS) (304 or 316) frame construction with 1.5 mm thick frame & 1.0 mm thick blades.
2. Perforated:
- 22 GA Galvanized perforated sheet.
- 1 mm Aluminum perforated sheet.
- 0.8 mm Stainless Steel (304 or 316) perforated sheet.
3. Wire mesh:
- Galvanized bird screen
- Aluminum bird screen
- Stainless steel bird screen
- Galvanized insect screen
- Aluminum insect screen
- Stainless steel insect screen
4. Flanges:
- 30 mm extruded Aluminum flange for GI and AL construction.
- 30 mm Stainless steel flange for SS construction.
5. Filter:
- 1” (25.4 mm) or 2” (50.8 mm) Aluminum Filter.
6. Colors:
- Any RAL Color upon request.
- Perforated sheet will not be powder coated.
